Problem :

Nieyana sought to develop a merchandise concept that moved beyond traditional artist merchandise into a refined lifestyle brand. The goal was to create a fashion identity that reflected softness, intentional rest, and elevated everyday comfort while maintaining authenticity and market appeal. The project required building a brand from the concept stage to defining its aesthetic, emotional positioning, and visual language before product launch.

Solution :

I conceptualized and developed Sunday Soft as a luxury leisurewear brand rooted in calm, minimalism, and intentional living. I established the brand’s creative direction, visual identity, and storytelling framework, designing branding concepts, mood direction, and merchandising strategy that positioned the line as lifestyle apparel rather than promotional merchandise. The brand narrative centered on softness as both an aesthetic and emotional experience, guiding design decisions across visuals, tone, and future product presentation.

Challenge :

The primary challenge was translating an abstract emotional concept… rest, softness, and ease… into a tangible brand identity that felt premium yet accessible. The brand needed to resonate across audiences while remaining distinct from typical artist merchandise, requiring careful balance between fashion sensibility, personal branding, and commercial viability.
